Community Drinking Water Quality Research Study
Aquora Research and Consulting is a water research company in Holland, MI. We were founded with a mission to increase quality of life through data-driven water management. Our team members are experts in our fields, integrating water quality data with the assessment of health and economic indicators. By building relationships, we identify problems, find solutions, and promote sustainability in a community’s water supply for the long term.
Aquora received a federal government small business contract through the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS). Our goal is to identify communities in Michigan and Iowa that might have future problems with their drinking water and to better understand their water quality.
So far, our research has identified several communities which might be at risk for water problems in the future. We will be visiting those communities in the coming months to learn about how individuals feel about their water and to collect water samples.
We are offering free water tests ($200 value) to members of select communities plus gift cards totaling $25 to participate in two short, 15-20 minute surveys (one prior to testing and one after water test results are provided).
To participate, individuals must consent to participate and must:
have water provided by one of the predetermined communities in the study
be 18 years of age or older
speak English
